Computed Tomography Technologist

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Riverdale, GA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment while ensuring image quality and regulatory compliance. You will assist clinical teams by processing and transmitting images to PACS and participating in quality improvement and QC activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Current CRT as required by client (must possess at hire).
• Familiarity with State and Federal regulations, HFAP/TJC/CMS standards.
• Proficient computer skills for image processing and PACS transmission.
• Must obtain fluoroscopy permit within 6 months of hire. (Client requirement.)
• Must obtain venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire. (Client requirement.)
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year or more of CT-specific experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital radiology or trauma center environments preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1930.
• Work schedule: 12-hour shifts, three days per week, Friday through Sunday.

You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and regulatory standards. You will serve as the first-line interface with patients and clinical staff to meet imaging needs and support patient throughput and safety.
