Final Assembly Operators

We are seeking reliable Final Assembly Operators to join our production team in Auburn Hills, MI for an exciting, fast-paced contract opportunity. In this role, you will be a vital part of our assembly line, helping to build high-quality products, manage workstation materials, and collaborate with a great team. 

This is a 3rd shift position (Mon-Fri, 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM (depending on experience), and great overtime earning potential (Time-and-a-half for standard OT, and Double-Time for Sundays!). Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembly: Build and assemble finished units per engineering and customer specifications.

• Teamwork: Coordinate with teammates to efficiently organize and execute tasks requiring multiple team members.

• Material Handling: Utilize manual and automated lifting devices safely while adhering to product safety guidelines.

• Inventory & Maintenance: Replenish stock/parts at workstations, audit material kits for accuracy, organize spare parts inventory, and order parts as needed.

• Documentation & Metrics: Verify correct documentation for builds, accurately report scrap, and log downtime or manufacturing metrics as required.

• Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S methodologies.

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards, work rules, and practices at all times.
