Training Facilitator - Technical Product Training

INNIO employs over 5,000 people worldwide and is committed to moving energy forward.Role Summary: At INNIO's Product Training Center, we help customers, channel partners, technicians, and employees develop the knowledge they need to operate, maintain, and support Waukesha gas engines. We are looking for a Training Facilitator - Technical Product Training to join our Waukesha-based team and become an engine subject matter expert. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in front of a class, translating complex technical information into practical learning, and helping others master hands-on technical work. Essential Responsibilities: Deliver mechanical and control system hands-on and classroom training courses for international customers, channel partners and INNIO employees in the assigned regionsIdentify additional training needs through regular consultation with all relevant business areas who are subject matter experts (SME) and build product technical skills for INNIO’s Waukesha engine product portfolioProvide leadership for the successful execution of complex training design & development projects based on organizational and individual needsServe as the focal point and leader to facilitate on-time completion of project deliverables from engineering, field service and other areas of the organizationEnsure instructor preparedness when new training products are introducedBenchmark internal and external training tools and concepts for the Waukesha engine product portfolio and leverage synergiesEvaluate success of training and development programs and help to identify new or additional training needs based on the feedback from stakeholdersWork and communicate with all internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve training related programs, processes and proceduresQualifications / Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organization Development, Engineering or related field in training or equivalent experience. (Associate degree in Training or Instructional Design and 2 additional years in delivering training programs). At least 2 years’ experience in the delivery of technical training.Knowledge of and proficient using tools including e-Learning software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Documentation Management softwareKnowledge of enginesChange agent and self-starter that welcomes change and can evaluate, initiate and introduce new learning conceptsStrong focus on customer satisfaction and able to co-operate with others at all levels and times demonstrating strong teamworkExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong organizational skills and ability to follow comprehensive process landscapesExperience with facilitating creative learner-centered training materials to include e-learning, instructor led material and corresponding training manuals and other virtual training delivery platformsExperience translating technical information into easily understood instructional programsDesired Characteristics:Master’s degree in Learning & Development, Adult Education or similar degree from an accredited university or collegeExperience with technical/industrial machinesDemonstrated ability to develop credibility with customers and a strong customer service mindsetAble to work in a team and manage multiple projectsExperience in gas compression, oil and gas, power generation industriesCompensation Range: $86,800 to $130,200 per year (Varies depending on relevancy of experience, technical certifications and other job-related criteria).
