Medical Front Desk/ Scheduler

Job Description

Canyon Sky ENT is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Front Desk Scheduler to join our busy specialty medical office. This position is ideal for someone with medical office experience or strong customer service and administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Answer high-volume incoming calls
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
Process referrals from providers and hospitals
Maintain accurate documentation in EHR
Assist with front desk check-in/check-out when needed

Qualifications

Medical office, scheduling, or healthcare call center experience preferred
Strong phone communication and customer service skills
Experience verifying insurance eligibility and benefits is a plus
Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems preferred
Proficient with computers, email, and Microsoft Office
High School Diploma or GED

Canyon Sky ENT, the office of Dr. Maulik B. Shah, opened in 2018 in Chandler, AZ. Dr. Shah is a board-certified otolaryngologist specializing in comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care. He treats the full spectrum of ENT disorders for patients of all ages. It is a state of the art facility that will allow patients to receive thorough examinations, procedures, pre- and post- operative visits, audiograms, and hearing aid sales.
