Redeemer Health Care Center, a 5-star Cassia senior community, is hiring a  Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)to join the team. Do you want to work with a well-established consistent clinical team that supports the residents as well as each other? As a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse at Redeemer Health Care Center , you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administer medications, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. You will float between our TCU and LTC. The ideal candidate is a skilled and dependable Registered Nurse   or Licensed Practical Nurse  who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to enhancing the lives of older adults. 

Position Types: Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule covering Days, Evenings and Nights.

Available Shifts:
Days 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Evenings 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Nights 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM Wage Range:
Registered Nurse $37.70 to $43.75 / hour depending on experience.
Licensed Practical Nurse  $30.86 to $35.82 / hour depending on experience.

Bonus: 
Full-Time
$7,500(Registered Nurse)
$5,000 (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Part-Time
$5,000 (Registered Nurse)
$2,500 (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Location: 625 W 31st Street, Minneapolis, MN 55408

Nurse (RN or LPN) Responsibilities: 

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care plans for residents.  
• Recognizes and manages common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory and pain problems.
• Supervises work performed by LPNs, TMAs, and Nursing Aides
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Monitors nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.

Nurse (RN or LPN) Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license required.
• CPR certified preferred or willing to get
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
