Director of Nursing

Exciting opportunity for a Director of Nursing-This de novo ASC will be a premier center for comprehensive and complex ophthalmic surgery. We are looking for a Director of Nursing to manage the day-to-day clinical operations of this high paced environment Duties include but are not limited to overseeing scheduling of procedures, staffing levels, Physician Preferences, supervision of materials management and maintain the right culture and pace of the Center in the ORS, Pre-Op & PACU. This role works closely with the Administrator, Medical Director and MAC and will actively participate in patient care. Experience working in an ASC as an RN is required. Experience in any type of ophthalmic surgery highly preferred.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES :


The Director of Nursing is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Surgery Center. This includes but is not limited to overseeing the scheduling of procedures, inventory control, QA/ QI, staff credentialing, preventative maintenance and safety, risk management and all related supporting services of the ambulatory surgical center and its personnel.


REQUIREMENTS :

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current state Registered Nurse License required.
• Current American Heart Assn BLS and ACLS certifications also required.
