The ideal candidate is licensed to practice in Florida and has a strong background in civil litigation, courtroom advocacy, case strategy, and dispute resolution. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work on cases individually by contract. The attorney will play a key role in representing clients, managing litigation matters, and providing strategic legal counsel across a variety of practice areas, including personal injury, workers' compensation, insurance disputes, business litigation, property damage claims, and other civil litigation matters. *Responsibilities* * Handle litigation matters from case inception through resolution. * Develop case strategies and provide legal analysis on complex disputes. * Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other litigation-related documents. * Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda to support case strategy. * Manage discovery processes, including document review, depositions, interrogatories, and expert coordination. * Represent clients during hearings, mediations, arbitrations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings. * Negotiate settlements and resolutions on behalf of clients. * Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other legal professionals throughout the litigation process. * Prepare trial materials and assist with trial preparation and courtroom presentations. * Stay current on relevant Florida laws, court rules, and litigation developments. * Utilize legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case preparation. *Requirements* * Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with The Florida Bar. * Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school. * Proven litigation experience, including motion practice, discovery, negotiations, mediations, and court appearances. * Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure and litigation processes. * Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. * Exceptional oral advocacy and negotiation abilities. * Experience handling personal injury, workers' compensation, insurance claims, business disputes, construction litigation, or related practice areas is preferred. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Reliable, professional, and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. *Compensation* * Per-case / contract-based compensation. * Fees and scope of work discussed individually for each engagement. *Why Join Us?* * Flexible schedule ideal for solo practitioners or attorneys seeking part-time work. * Remote work opportunities with occasional in-person court appearances as needed. * Opportunity to work on a diverse range of litigation matters throughout Florida. * Collaborate with a responsive and supportive legal team. * Meaningful, challenging work with the ability to make a direct impact on case outcomes. xmcpwfu If you are an experienced Florida Litigation Attorney looking for flexible contract opportunities and the chance to work on engaging legal matters, we encourage you to apply.
