Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for neonates or an assigned patient group according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff on the unit, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment in a high-acuity NICU setting.
- Monitor neonates for life-threatening conditions, respond to clinical changes, document assessments, and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Administer medications and therapies appropriate to neonatal care, manage equipment and monitoring devices, and participate in rounds and family communication.
- Ensure patient safety and quality of care through accurate documentation, appropriate handoffs, and adherence to unit protocols.

Requirements
- Ability to work in a NICU environment with high-acuity neonates.
- Experience in neonatal intensive care or a similar critical care setting is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work night shifts and manage a 12-hour schedule.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the multidisciplinary NICU team.
