Our values of integrity, collaboration, and excellence enable us to lead the industry in providing the optimal solution for our clients.We are seeking a results-driven Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Wadsworth, Ohio.In this position, you will be responsible for contract administration duties, including target and job initiation, purchase orders, change orders, general contract administration, material accrual, bid file assembly including plan retrieval and printing; accounting administration duties including bonds, insurance, lien waivers, weekly revenue summary, and filing. You will be working directly with the Branch Manager, Project Managers, Engineers and Superintendents to develop and provide the business leaders meaningful financial tools they need to make real time decisions regarding their projects.ResponsibilitiesSearch for potential projectsReview documents with project manager and track opportunitiesDownload documents (plans, specs, geotechnical report and addenda) from plan roomsCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationAssist with pre-bid qualifications and bidders listComplete initial project take-offMonitor and track project progress and notify the project manager of any changesQualificationsQualified candidates will have several years of experience in project management / accounting and relevant hands-on experience within the construction industry. A.S. or B.S. with concentrated focus including business, accounting, finance, legal studies and/or construction management preferred. Must be an independent thinker, well organized, self-motivated, reliable, detail oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal & customer relations skills. Excellent computer skills and written & verbal communication skills necessary.Other requirements include:Demonstrated track record of success within the construction industryDemonstrated experience communicating and working effectively with Engineers, Superintendents and other key business partnersDemonstrated experience in developing solutions to problemsFamiliarity with accounting principlesAbility to meet hectic and changing schedules and deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office (specifically, Excel & Word)Other duties as assigned by the Branch ManagerAbility to travel to projects around Cleveland, Columbus or DetroitAdditional InformationSalary Range: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per yearActual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by lawBenefits:401(k) + matchingHealth, Dental, Vision insuranceLife insurancePaid time off (PTO)Holiday PayKeller is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
