ACCOUNTING CLERK Full Time West Palm Beach, FL, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1098 $50,000.00 To $60,000.00 Annually Job Summary The Accounting Clerk performs a wide range of accounting and administrative duties to support the accounting department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Review invoices daily for job completion status and costing, and email managers for corrections. Batch, post and export invoices daily. Verifies information and maintains accounts receivable reports including but not limited to monthly sales, open invoices, and aging reports. Review the ServiceTitan AR Reconciliation Report weekly and send collection follow-up requests to management as needed. Receives checks and prepares deposit slips; verifies remittances against business accounts; deposits checks daily. Follow up daily with management and technicians regarding payments that have not been turned into the office. Process customer refunds as needed. Manage chargeback documentation, including, but not limited to assigning tasks to management and submitting rebuttal documentation. Guides and supervises complaint resolutions; verifies customer satisfaction through verbal and written communication. Complete payment batching, payment exports, and Home Services deposits daily to support timely bank account reconciliation. Manage financing jobs through daily monitoring of applicable financing portals, submit final funding requests as jobs are completed, Post financing payments to customer accounts within ServiceTitan, and post financing fee cost to jobs in Service Titan (either on the invoice or via adjustment invoice if job is already exported). Maintains accounting department files and records. Enters information into accounting data entry system. Assists with month-end close and runs monthly reports as required. Assists with special accounting projects as needed. Supervisor Responsibilities of this Role None at this time. These include the following: Days Payable Outstanding Budget Variance Accounts Payable Turnover Accounts Receivable Turnover Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. At least two years of accounting experience. Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices. Working knowledge of relevant state, federal, and local regulations. Proficiency in MS Office and popular accounting software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure. Excellent organizational skills.
