Job Description

• Craft Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs and create individualized care strategies to support them in reaching their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work in conjunction with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver well-rounded, comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques to promote continuing progress outside the clinical setting
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients stay on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Ongoing learning or post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported

Certifications

• A valid Occupational Therapist (OTR) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
