Strategic Engagement Manager

Position Overview This role leads the management of high-value or complex client accounts, including strategic planning, client retention, and revenue growth. What You’ll Do Lead client relationships for high-value or strategic accounts. Own the end-to-end relationship for strategic accounts, acting as a trusted advisor. Develop account growth strategies and execute plans. Lead quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients. Identify growth opportunities through upselling, cross‑selling, and solution expansion. Resolve complex client issues with minimal supervision, leveraging internal resources. Analyze market trends and provide insights to clients. Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver integrated solutions. Mentor junior account managers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. What You’ll Bring to Zelis Typically a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 2+ years of experience, including company and regional training. Proficiency using AI tools and developing intelligent prompts or agents. Proven track record of growing accounts and meeting KPIs. Excellent leadership and client‑facing skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Demonstrated success in managing complex client relationships and driving growth. Strong business acumen and alignment of client needs with company offerings. Experience in contract negotiation and renewal processes. Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.
