About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President for Compensation Accounting to join their Financial Planning & Analysis team. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining monthly accounting processes and procedures related to incentive compensation and equity plans. This includes posting all relevant entries to the general ledger, providing financial analysis, and supporting internal reporting activities. The role also involves preparing quarterly footnotes and compensation schedules for leadership and the Board, as well as participating in various financial analyses and working with HR and FP&A teams to understand financial trends. Applicants for the Vice President, Compensation Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA being preferred. A minimum of 7 years' experience in compensation accounting is required, along with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial controls. The role demands proficiency in financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, OneStream, DFIN, and JPM Workplace Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in preparing footnotes and equity roll forwards, and experience in enhancing controls and documenting standard operating procedures. Additionally, the role involves assisting with quarterly reviews and annual audits in the compensation areas.
