Hospitality Catering Server

Job Summary
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1 to 2 years of food service, hospitality, guest services, catering, or office support experience who enjoys keeping operations organized and delivering a polished client experience. The position offers a steady weekday schedule, hands-on training, and the chance to grow into a long-term role within a professional, team-oriented workplace.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, friendly, and comfortable supporting meetings, managing supplies, preparing beverages, and stepping in where needed to keep the office running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor conference room and meeting schedules throughout the shift to ensure rooms are set up accurately and on time.
- Set up, refresh, and clean conference rooms before and after meetings, including coordinating vendor returns when needed.
- Prepare coffee and other beverages in assigned kitchens each morning and clean coffee makers in the evening.
- Maintain catering supplies, track inventory, and place food, beverage, and supply orders as needed.
- Communicate with supervisors or client contacts regarding meeting changes, request concerns, or deadline issues.
- Provide general hospitality center support, including answering phones and covering the reception desk during the main receptionist’s lunch break.

Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $22.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Location: New York, NY.

Duration: Temp to perm  Shift: Monday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:
1. Check the conference room and meeting scheduler throughout shift and make note of any changes to ensure meetings are set-up accurately.
2. Clean up conference rooms after use and return property to vendors if necessary.
3. Prepare coffee and other beverages in assigned kitchens each morning.
4. Clean up coffee makers in each kitchen in the evening.
5. Communicate with supervisor or client on meeting request concerns or deadline issues.
6. Maintain inventory of catering supplies and order supplies as needed.
9. Place orders for food and beverages for use during meetings
7. Prioritize workflow.
8. Assist in process improvement ideas.
9. Answer telephone in hospitality center
10. Use equipment and supplies in a cost-efficient manner
11. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
