Human Resources Manager

A well-established Dallas law firm is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join its team. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations, supervising HR and administrative staff, and partnering closely with attorneys, managers, and firm leadership. Responsibilities Supervise and provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to HR and administrative support teams Oversee full-cycle recruitment for legal staff positions, including sourcing, interviewing, candidate selection, and offer negotiations Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies Manage new-hire onboarding, including orientation, policy training, and integration into the firm Partner with the Director of Human Resources on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of firm policies Serve as a trusted HR resource to attorneys, managers, and staff Manage and continuously improve the annual performance review process for attorneys and staff Lead employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives Coordinate firm events and manage associated budgets Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, procedures, and the overall employee experience Develop and maintain HR policies and departmental procedures Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Collaborate with other departments on firm-wide initiatives and special projects Assist with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives Perform additional HR management responsibilities as needed Qualifications Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience required 3+ years of HR Manager experience Previous law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred Experience supervising and developing employees Strong background in employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and performance management Solid knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance Experience working with HRIS platforms Proficiency in Microsoft Office PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong judgment and ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment Why Consider This Opportunity?
