Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently hiring Travel Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (Ultrasound Technologists) in Houston, Texas! This is an on-site, full-time contract opportunity supporting high-quality diagnostic imaging services at a leading outpatient clinic. Apply with a current resume for consideration.

Pay : $54 to $56/hr
Contract Dates: 06/2026 - 09/2026
Schedule Options:

• 4x10-hour shifts (Monday-Friday, rotating day off)
• OR 5x8-hour shifts (Monday-Friday)
  Shift Times: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM OR 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  Location: , Houston, TX 77025

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic sonography in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and imaging protocols
• Produce high-quality ultrasound images with proper anatomical orientation and identification of abnormalities
• Adjust scanning techniques based on patient age, condition, and communication needs
• Perform routine equipment checks and participate in technical quality control processes
• Report equipment malfunctions or image quality issues to supervisory staff
• Maintain supplies and complete required cleaning and maintenance logs
• Accurately document findings in RIS and PACS systems for radiologist review
• Identify and troubleshoot image transmission or system issues and escalate as needed
• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and multidisciplinary staff across locations
• Ensure patient safety, including adherence to ultrasound safety standards and sterile techniques when required
• Deliver excellent bedside manner and patient care during all procedures
• Support compliance with all clinic safety, documentation, and quality standards

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum of 2 ultrasound registries required:

• RDMS (Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast)
• RVT/RVS
  • Strong understanding of abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular imaging
  • Breast and procedural experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to operate digital imaging systems and computer-based documentation tools
