Phlebotomy Site Coordinator

Job Title Phlebotomy Site Coordinator (Tulsa, OK) Work Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM Job Responsibilities Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary Address any customer service related issues in a prompt and respectful manner Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2 years or more of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications 2 years or more of experience as a phlebotomist Phlebotomy certification or completed training Job Standards In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortably working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable Benefits Eligible for comprehensive benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Stock Purchase Plan) for employees scheduled 20 or more hours per week Eligibility for 401(k) plan only for employees scheduled less than 20 hours per week, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO Equal Employment Opportunity Labcorp is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer: Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
