Warehouse IHouston, TexasFull-TimeThis is supporting role to assist with material handling, shipping and receiving functions to achieve Dresser's daily goals.This position coordinates, stages, loads, and unloads finished product and raw materials. Stocks and maintains warehouse inventory and assists with packaging products for shipment.A representative summary of tasks to be performed is provided below. The incumbent may be asked to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically stated in this description.Assist in reviewing pick sheets based on customer orders and then pulling the right products for each orderWork closely with the inventory group to monitor supply levels and advise on non-conforming countsAssist in cycle countingCollaborate with the inventory control and purchasing groups to determine when product is missing upon receiptStage finished product for loadingLoad finished product onto transportationUnload raw materials and move to warehouse storageResponsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out nor is accepted inAssure that materials received agree with the purchase order/sales orderAssure safe packaging of products for shipmentOrganizes and identifies inventory in the warehouseArrange for shipment of productsSafely operate forklifts, reach truck and all power equipment for material handlingClean and maintain work area.
