About the Role:As a Tax Manager, you will lead and oversee tax planning, compliance, and strategy for a diverse range of clients. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a leadership capacity and enjoys delivering impactful solutions in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for various entity types, including individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
- Develop and implement strategic tax plans to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance.
- Provide technical expertise on complex tax issues and changes in tax legislation.
- Act as the primary contact for client audits and correspondence with tax authorities.
- Train, mentor, and manage a team of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic insights and drive client success.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's in Taxation or CPA designation preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of tax experience, ideally in public accounting or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
