• $32-$35/hr to start - based on your current skill level
• Clear path to $38-$42/hr as you advance
• Bi-Weekly pay - no waiting around

THIS IS A REAL SHOP, NOT A REVOLVING DOOR

• Turning Wrenches is owned and operated by Adrian - I'm here every day. If you've got a question, you can ask me. If something needs to change, the person who can change it is in the building. That's not common anymore. That matters.

WE WILL KEEP YOU BUSY

• Turning Wrenches has built a loyal Sacramento customer base over 10+ years, with strong word-of-mouth, repeat clients, and a steady book of work - especially on Asian imports (we pick and choose what domestics we will work on). You won't be standing around wondering where the next ticket is coming from.

WORK-LIFE BALANCE (GET YOUR LIFE BACK!)

• Monday through Friday, 8 to 5. Closed Saturday. Closed Sunday. No "we open Saturdays now" surprise meetings. We mean it. Your weekends are yours.

YOU WILL LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY

• We see a wide range of vehicles, with a real specialty in Asian imports - so there's always something to sharpen your skills on. And when you're ready to level up, we invest in the training that gets you there.

YOU WILL BE APPRECIATED (OPEN DOOR POLICY)

• Family-owned, owner-operated, decisions made onsite. Your voice matters here. If something's broken, you can say so - and someone who can actually fix it will be listening. We have a shop lunch two times a month. The last Friday of every month is a shop meeting

Turning Wrenches first opened in 2009. We had to close due to financial hardship - and Adrian made a promise to himself that he'd reopen and do it right. In December 2014, we did exactly that. Same name. Same mission. Better than ever.

Over a decade later, we're family-owned and operated, deeply rooted in this community, and known across East Sacramento for honesty, transparency, and quality work - especially on Asian imports. Every repair is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. Every customer gets photos and videos of what we find. That's how we do it.

SKILLS AND TRAITS THAT HELP YOU SHINE IN THIS ROLE:
• You're a hands-on tech at any level - apprentice, mid-level, or experienced - with a solid work ethic and the drive to keep getting better
• You take pride in doing the job right the first time, every time
• You're a team player who lifts the people around you - not someone who creates drama or cuts corners
• You're growth-minded - you want certifications, advancement, and a career, not just a paycheck
• You show up dependable, accountable, and ready to work
• Experience with Asian imports is a big plus
• A valid driver's license and your own basic tools are a must
• ASE certifications are a plus - and if you don't have them yet, we'll help you get there
• If you're just punching a clock and moving on, this isn't your shop. But if you're ready to plant roots somewhere that'll actually invest in you, this will likely be the right fit.
