We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager who has successfully delivered ground-up residential projects in Washington, D.C. and can take full ownership from pre-construction through final completion.Learn more: RoleYou will lead full-cycle residential construction projects from planning through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, permitting, inspections, and client coordination.This role requires experience managing ground-up custom residential homes in Washington, D.C., along with a strong understanding of local permitting and regulatory processes.Core ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle construction of ground-up residential homes in Washington, D.C.Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgetsCoordinate pre-construction planning, permitting, and approvalsLead day-to-day execution, ensuring quality, timeline, and cost controlManage subcontractors, vendors, and field teams with clear accountabilityConduct and lead inspections with DC authorities and ensure complianceServe as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the projectProactively identify and resolve risks, delays, and budget impactsRequired Experience (Non-Negotiable)5+ years of proven experience managing multiple ground-up residential construction complex projectsDirect experience with DC permitting, zoning codes, and inspectionsDemonstrated track record managing project budgets and schedules for complex residential buildsStrong technical knowledge of residential construction from start to finishExperience operating as the lead Project Manager with full project ownershipCandidates without direct experience managing ground-up residential construction projects in Washington, D.C., including permitting and inspections, are unlikely to be a fit for this role.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with high-end or custom residential clientsStrong communication and client management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality standardsCompensation and BenefitsBase Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience2 weeks PTO, increasing with tenure14 paid holidays50% company-paid health insurance for employees401(k) with company match after one yearWhy Blue StarYou will work on design-driven residential projects and be part of a team that values execution, accountability, and high standards.ApplyWe are only considering candidates who meet the required experience outlined above.
