Store Manager

Join the team at High Tidez, a recreational dispensary in Coney Island! We are seeking a highly motivated Store Manager to lead our daily operations. If you are an experienced leader who is passionate about cannabis and retail management, we want to hear from you.This is an hourly position with 5 hours of over-time weekly. Compensation package includes paid time off and performance bonus. Mandatory Requirements Must be able to commit to a 45-hour work week. Must be capable of opening and closing the store, specifically closing 3 days a week. Must be available to work weekends (you will not be scheduled every weekend, but open availability is required). Must be able to start the position immediately. Must be available during our operating hours: Sunday through Wednesday from 10 AM to 10 PM, and Thursday through Saturday from 10 AM to 11 PM. Core Responsibilities Day-to-Day Leadership: Managing employees day-to-day, customer service and completing weekly scheduling. HR & Payroll: Processing payroll accurately, onboarding new hires (including HR paperwork and system setups), collaborating directly with the General Manager (Owner) on all hiring and firing decisions, reviewing performance of dispensary employees on a regular basis. Training & Development: Training new employees for the sales floor, educating all staff on new procedures, delivering constructive coaching, and administering formal write-ups when necessary. Floor & Inventory Support: Jumping in to help customers on the sales floor during busy rushes and assisting with inventory management when needed. Compliance: Staying strictly up to date on all NewYork Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) compliance rules and NewYork State Employee compliance laws. Store Operations & Events: Ordering necessary supplies for the store to ensure smooth operations, and helping to create, organize, and execute community events for the dispensary in collaboration with our events coordinator. General Management: Overseeing all managerial duties expected in a retail environment. Qualifications At least 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting. Cannabis experience required. Must be proactive, with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strong communication and leadership skills. Meet timelines consistently. Open to constructive, developmental feedback. High level of interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, often working cross-functionally.
