Sr Facilities Technician

Are you a skilled problem-solver who thrives on keeping complex technical systems running flawlessly? We are seeking a Senior Facilities Operations Specialist to take ownership of our day-to-day building operations and mechanical/electrical (M&E) systems.

In this role, you won't just sit behind a desk—you will be the go-to technical expert on the floor, balancing hands-on troubleshooting with strategic contractor supervision. Because we operate in a highly regulated, precision-driven environment, your work directly ensures our operational success and regulatory compliance. The shift is 3rd shift from 10pm-6am.

salary: $30 - $43 per hour
shift: Third
work hours: 10 PM - 6 AM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical facility equipment (HVAC, Electrical, Compressed Air, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems).
• Utilize our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track preventive and reactive work orders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external contractors, ensuring their work meets our strict safety, quality, and scheduling standards.
• Ensure all critical equipment licenses and permits are renewed on time, adhering closely to GMP and ISO standards.
• Work independently while serving as an informal technical resource and mentor for less experienced team members.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance or building operations.
• Deep knowledge of facility M&E systems, spares management, and advanced troubleshooting.
• A Bachelor’s degree or formal trade training (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Controls) is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with GMP requirements and ISO standards (such as ISO 13485, 14001, or 45001) is a major plus.
• Ownership mindset, including the flexibility to handle after-hours emergency calls via a 24/7 standby rotation.
