Job Title

Level I Trauma and large hospital experience is required. The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that floats throughout our two campuses, BUMC-Tucson (Level I Trauma 625 beds) and BUMC-South (Level IV Trauma 245 beds), to provide support where necessary. BUMC-Tucson Campus has the following Adult Health units with patients that range from Observation (2 units), Med Surg (4 units), to PCU and IMC (total 11 units). PCU travelers may be floated to any of these units during their contract. Occasionally, they may be floated to the ED or the PACU to take Adult Health patients with inpatient orders waiting on a bed on a unit. BUMC-South Campus is approximately a 10-minute drive from BUMC-Tucson. It has 4 Adult Health units (1 OBS, 2 PCU, and 1 MS) which they may float.

AZ RESIDENTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR ASSIGNMENTS IN ANY ARIZONA FACILITY! Banner has a specific cover page. Please ensure candidates clearly outline ALL criteria they're willing to accept. The more flexible they are with locations, shifts, and departments, the faster we can secure an offer!

Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date, or no more than one week later. RTO must be on the cover page and cannot exceed 7 days. No RTO during the first week of assignment. Please list all facilities the candidate is willing to work in. Specify facility name(s), states, or all, if open to any facility in any state. All shifts the candidate is willing to work. All departments the candidate is experienced and willing to work.

Requirement description:

• Must have a minimum of 24 months PCU experience (with recent experience in last 12 months) - [REQUIRED]
