Journeyman Mission Analyst

Journeyman Mission Analyst Responsibilities Perform comprehensive Mission Assurance analysis to understand how critical missions depend on assets, systems, infrastructure, and external dependencies Analyze Defense Critical Infrastructure (DCI) and Task Critical Assets (TCAs) to identify vulnerabilities, single points of failure, and mission impacts Support ongoing identification, validation, periodic revalidation, and continuous improvement of mission‑critical capabilities Coordinate with OSD, the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, MAJCOMs, installations, and other DoD agencies as directed Manage, analyze, and contextualize Mission Assurance risk data to support understanding of impacts to mission execution Augment Government‑led Mission Assurance assessment teams, including pre‑site survey activities, on‑site data collection, and post‑assessment analysis Additional duties as assigned Experience Requirements 3–10 years in any career field, discipline, or industry Experience with DoD Mission Assurance processes (DoDI 3020.45) preferred Background in operations, intelligence, force protection, or risk management preferred Familiarity with TCA/DCA identification and Air Force operations preferred Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in any field Certification Requirements None specified Security Clearance Requirements Active/current Top Secret (TS) clearance on Day 1 of performance Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI and TS/SCI with Caveats U.S. Citizenship required Other Requirements Ability to work 100% on‑site within a Government SCIF during core duty hours CONUS travel may be required (coordinated with the Government at least 10 calendar days prior) OCONUS travel may be required (e.g., EUCOM/PACOM AOR support; coordinated at least 20 calendar days prior, with Theater Business Clearances) Local travel within the National Capital Region may be required Trip and After‑Action Reports are required following each trip May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others Effective verbal and written communication skills Position is Contingent on Contract Award Watermark is an equal opportunity employer. The anticipated compensation range for this position is $100,000-300,000. Multiple considerations are taken into account when determining the final salary/hour rate, including but not limited to Contract Wage Determination, education and certifications, relevant work experience, related skills and competencies, as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
