Manufacturing Technician II - 3rd Shift

Job Title With general supervisory direction, assist in the daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety). This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week. Your responsibilities will include: Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize downtime Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/product Work with vendors/suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and/or equipment Assist in writing equipment protocols and executing protocols Assist in Value Improvement (VIP) and Employee Involvement Team (EIT) projects, implementing new equipment or processes or improving existing ones for cost savings Work with Process Development to bring new products into production Work with departmental customers to improve material quality and delivery Train and provide technical support or direction to Machine Operators and other technicians Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience troubleshooting extruders. Required qualifications: 2 years of experience with a high school diploma/degree/equivalent Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
