LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist. The anticipated pay range for this role is between $30-$34 an hour.

Responsibilities:

· Process weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time.

· Review and verify employee timecards, earnings, deductions, and payroll adjustments.

· Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

· Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies promptly.

· Process new hires, terminations, garnishments, direct deposits, and tax withholdings.

· Reconcile payroll reports and assist with month-end and year-end activities, including W-2 preparation.

· Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate employee and payroll data.

· Support payroll audits and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications:

· 2+ years of payroll processing experience.

· Knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance requirements.

· Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, Paychex, Workday, or similar platforms.

· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

· CPP certification is a plus but not required.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
