Work Environment

This position is primarily done onsite in our outpatient office located in West Palm Beach. The work schedule is from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life routine. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate individual patient conditions, developing customized treatment plans tailored to meet their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices to facilitate recovery and help restore patients' movement and function.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure each patient receives personalized attention and care, building rapport to enhance their treatment experience.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities that support pain relief and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment plans, and methods to self-manage their health, fostering empowerment and active participation in their recovery process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to create and adjust treatment protocols, ensuring an integrated approach to comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, making necessary modifications to treatment plans based on outcomes and feedback.
• Promote preventive healthcare by encouraging lifestyle changes that improve strength, flexibility, and resilience, while reducing the risk of injury.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily encompass working with patients seeking rehabilitative care for orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. We serve a diverse demographic, including active adults, athletes, and older adults facing mobility challenges. Each patient's unique background requires thoughtful adjustments in therapy approaches, ensuring that we cater to their individual recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in Florida, with a clean record devoid of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong foundational knowledge of physical therapy practices and a commitment to continuing education to stay current with evolving methodologies.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, with a preference for familiarity with WebPT systems for efficient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing Physical Therapist, preferably within outpatient settings that focus on orthopedic care.
• Demonstrated success in implementing various therapeutic interventions that lead to positive patient outcomes.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload while providing exceptional patient care and support.

Compensation and Benefits
