Commercial Litigation Attorney

The Commercial Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload involving business and commercial disputes from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate is a strategic and motivated litigator with strong legal writing, case management, and client communication skills.

This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution
• Handle business disputes involving breach of contract, business torts, shareholder and partnership disputes, commercial lease matters, and related claims
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Develop case strategies and provide practical recommendations to clients
• Manage written discovery, document production, legal research, and motion practice
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, and other proceedings
• Prepare matters for trial and participate in trial proceedings as needed
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties
• Independently manage deadlines and caseload responsibilities while collaborating with the firm’s legal team
• Support the firm’s continued growth and client development initiatives

Qualifications

• Active member in good standing of The Florida Bar
• Minimum of three years of commercial litigation experience
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required
• Experience handling sophisticated business and commercial disputes
• Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
• Meaningful experience with pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation
• Ability to independently manage multiple matters and competing deadlines
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Professional and responsive communication style
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment
• Portable business or an established referral network is welcomed but not required
