Our team of experts is available to help customers from start to finish with the goal of exceeding every customer's expectations.Warehouse Supervisors ensure a smooth business environment with the focus of optimal efficiency. They are responsible for implementing workflow procedures based on direction from the company's Operations Manager. Duties include supervising, managing, and scheduling facility employees during day-to-day processes. Managing the overall safe operation of the facility, management of containers moving in and out of warehouse, inventory, customer service and general warehouse maintenance. Providing excellent customer service and a safe work environment.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Work closely with the Operations Manager to oversee daily business operations.Train, Communicate and Enforce Company, OSHA and DOT Safety ProceduresResponsible for enforcing company policies and procedures within the officePerform facility opening and closing functionsManage maintenance and cleanliness of warehouse and related equipment.Prepare, evaluate, and balance the employee schedules.Manage facility inventory and assets.Work and manage warehouse including load and unload third party trucks and company trucks using forklift and pallet jacksDrive when the schedule demands it.Train drivers and forklift operatorsConduct employee performance reviews and provide feedback.Participate in recruitment and dismissal processesManage issues within the workplaceProactively develop and recommend strategies for better workplace efficiency, safety, and goal achievementAttend to email and phone correspondenceServe as primary liaison with Dispatch and Freight department on inbound/outbound containers.Manager Warehouse Staff including hiring, coaching, evaluating, and dismissing under guidance of the Operations ManagerProfessional appearance and demeanorEssential duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without noticeStrong problem-solving skillsEffectively utilize software programsStrong communication skillsAdapt in a fast-paced environmentDetail oriented and highly organizedGeneral knowledge of DOT and OSHA requirements for a safe workplaceForklift certificationMust have a clean driving recordCDL Class A or B license preferredFacility staffHigh school diploma required, BS or BA preferredMinimum of two (2) years customer service experienceMinimum of one (1) year of store operations and/or management experienceMinimum of two (2) years forklift experienceHome every day.Competitive wages based on experience.Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off and holidays.401K with company match.1-800-Pack-Rat, LLC is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law
