Surgical / OR Tech II

Role Overview: The OR Tech II collaborates with perioperative nurses to provide age-specific patient care, ensuring a safe surgical environment and optimal physiological responses during procedures. Key Responsibilities Assist in organizing and preparing the operating room for various surgical procedures. Maintain sterile techniques and assist in scrub duties across diverse service lines including robotics, vascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, plastic, and trauma cases. Support patient safety and physiologic stability throughout surgeries. Communicate effectively with team members and perform independently as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an OR technician training program. 2-3 years of surgical tech experience. Certification as a Surgical Technician and current BLS certification. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and excellent communication skills. Ability to multitask, be flexible, and work independently. Additional Details Schedules include evening shifts, every other weekend, and holidays.
