Position Overview Join our team as an Emergency Technician Supervisor (Dayshift) who performs the duties of medical technical staff (e.g., technicians and assistants) as well as scheduling and supervising the staff of the assigned department. Expedites the care and efficiency of the department. In charge of patient care standards for the department. Must lead the team by example, demonstrating organizational skills, following company policies, and maintaining a professional attitude. Columbia River Veterinary Specialists in Vancouver, Washington, is a specialty and emergency hospital providing advanced care across multiple disciplines. The highly skilled team works collaboratively to deliver exceptional outcomes for complex cases. Signing Bonus Eligibility: $3,000 Sign-On Bonus Must commit to a full-time schedule Requires a one-year commitment Bonus is subject to repayment if employment ends before the one-year anniversary Key Responsibilities Maintain processes for effective medical record keeping and billing Collect and process work charts Assist with entering in-patient charges and/or procedures performed in billing system Ensure invoices are sent monthly and as requested by clients and doctors Process payments and monthly statements Resolve escalated financial problems with clients, collecting delinquent accounts and "NSF" checks; determines when special financial agreements are appropriate Assist with monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable Prepare, print and mail invoice or statement copies for customers as requested Performs other duties as assigned Be dependable and punctual Qualifications (Required) High School Diploma or GED Licensed Veterinary Technician in Washington or ability to become Licensed in the State of Washington if licensed in another state within 90 days of hire Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills The ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs Ability to withstand long hours of standing, squatting, kneeling and walking Basic computer skills Adapt to an ever-changing work environment Maintain objectivity during highly stressful/emotional situations Keep a positive and professional demeanor during interactions with clients and team members, leading by example Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Leadership skills Time management Organization skills Interpersonal skills Multi-tasking and setting priorities Empathy Schedule Thursday through Saturday from 8AM to 8PM Every other Sunday from 8AM to 8PM What We Offer Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid Parental Leave (birth, adoption, foster) 401(k) with discretionary contribution Team Member Pet Discounts Emotional wellbeing support - including Calm app access and 24/7 EAP CE stipends and career development resources Grant Circle - a relief fund for team members facing personal hardship Local hospital culture backed by national resources Pay Range
