Emergency Technician Supervisor (Dayshift) - Columbia River Veterinary Specialists PetVet Care Centers' Columbia River Veterinary Specialists is currently seeking an Emergency Technician Supervisor (Dayshift) to join our team. Position Overview As the Emergency Technician Supervisor (Dayshift), you will perform the duties of medical technical staff, schedule and supervise the department staff, expedite patient care, uphold departmental care standards, and lead the team by example. You will demonstrate strong organizational skills, adhere to company policies, and maintain a professional and positive attitude. Signing Bonus Eligibility $3,000 Sign‑On Bonus (subject to repayment if the employment ends before the one‑year anniversary) Requirement: full‑time schedule and one‑year commitment Key Responsibilities Maintain processes for effective medical record keeping and billing. Collect and process work charts. Assist with entering in‑patient charges and/or procedures performed in the billing system. Ensure invoices are sent monthly and as requested by clients and doctors. Process payments and monthly statements. Resolve escalated financial problems with clients, including collecting delinquent accounts and handling “NSF” checks; determine when special financial agreements are appropriate. Assist with monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable. Prepare, print and mail invoice or statement copies for customers as requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Demonstrate dependability and punctuality. Qualifications (Required) High School Diploma or GED. Licensed Veterinary Technician in Washington or the ability to become licensed in Washington within 90 days if licensed in another state. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs. Ability to withstand long hours of standing, squatting, kneeling and walking. Basic computer skills. Adaptability to an ever‑changing work environment. Maintain objectivity during highly stressful or emotional situations. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions with clients and team members, leading by example. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Time management. Interpersonal skills. Multi‑tasking and setting priorities. Empathy. Schedule Thursday through Saturday from 8 AM to 8 PM.
