Spherion Staffing is hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance/ Make Ready Technician for an apartment complex in Wichita Falls, TX! Applicants MUST have hands-on HVAC experience to be considered. Work schedule is Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, with 2 weeks on call at a time, with pay ranging from $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
Responsibilities:- Run service requests as they come in and provide attentive service to tenants
- Troubleshooting and repairing items in apartment units including appliance, plumbing, and electrical maintenance and change out appliances, cabinetry, etc.
- Troubleshoot HVAC units. Change out parts after troubleshooting or fully changing out an entire system.
- Doing make-readies: get units ready for new residents to move in.
- Drywall and sheetrock repairs, painting.
- Maintaining the grounds, cleaning the pool.
- Able to be physically active for duration of shift and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Able to be on call 2 weeks of the month Qualifications:
- Must have Make Ready experience
- Must have hands-on HVAC experience
- EPA certification to handle freon preferred.
- Must submit to a background and drug screen
