Plastic Surgery Nurse Practitioner Locums - Boston, MA Quick Snapshot

• Location: Boston, Massachusetts
• Start Date: September 1, 2026
• Setting: Acute Care Hospital
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts/week
  • Typically Wednesday-Friday
  • 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
  • Flexibility to cover Monday/Tuesday as needed
  • No weekends
  • No holidays
  • No nights
  Availability Requirements
  • Available to start 09/01/2026
  • Able to work 3 daytime shifts weekly
  • Flexible for occasional Monday/Tuesday coverage
  Required Licenses
  • Massachusetts License - Required
  Required Certifications
  • BLS - Required
  • Board Certified (BC) - Required
  • Plastic Surgery Certification/Board Certification - Required
  Required Experience
  • 1-2+ years of inpatient Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery experience
  • Acute care/hospital experience required
  • Outpatient-only experience will NOT be considered
  • Epic charting experience required
  Clinical Responsibilities
  • Inpatient Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery patient management
  • History & Physicals (H&Ps)
  • Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests
  • Medication management and prescribing
  • Develop and manage treatment plans
  • Ongoing patient assessment and care coordination
  • Perform bedside procedures as appropriate
  Not Included
  • No First Assist responsibilities
  • No operating room assisting
  • No nights, weekends, or holiday coverage
  Patient & Volume Details
  • Adult patients only
  • Average daily census: 10 patients
  • EMR: Epic
