Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions focusing on various areas such as communication, language remediation, fluency enhancement, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.

Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, families, and caregivers to ensure holistic care delivery.

Educate patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond the clinical environment.

Occasionally provide inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to maintain a seamless continuum of care.

Document clinical interactions accurately and in a timely manner as per state, federal, and institutional standards.

Engage in ongoing education and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in the field.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification.

Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Washington, D.C.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred with ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first month of employment.

Expertise in evidence-informed therapeutic approaches adaptable to individuals of all ages, underscored by an understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
