Job Description Remote/Field Sales : Territory includes the Western part of the USA: WA, OR, CA, ID, MN, ND, SD, WY, CO, UT, NM, AZ, NV. Must live in territory to be considered. Position Summary The CDK Service/Fixed Ops Account Development Executive Field Sales position drives top‑line growth by forging relationships with customers who do not have a business relationship with CDK within a specific geographical area. It grows new market share through conquest sales, selling CDK Service & Fixed Ops solutions to automotive dealerships. The role works in conjunction with channel partners to increase sales opportunities in CDK Strategic Products and achieves the annual assigned sales plan under the guidance of the Director of Sales. Responsibilities & Essential Functions Drive top‑line growth by closing new Service or Inventory business from targeted automotive dealers. Identify and define a growth strategy in the market for the business. Consistently exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and be well‑compensated for results. Manage the sales process end to end, proactively managing internal teams to ensure completion of the implementation process. Develop comprehensive understanding of CDK applications and their functionality. Maintain accurate records of interactions and forecasts in Salesforce CRM, leveraging the 9 steps of the Influencing the Decision process. Travel 75% in the field, including overnight travel. Follow all CDK Global policies and procedures. Complete all mandatory assigned compliance tasks and acknowledgements. Meet or exceed all performance expectations. Work independently and in a team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Have a valid driver’s license and required travel documents (if applicable). Required Job Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years automotive dealership experience as GM, Fixed Ops Director, Service Manager or Operations Manager. Proven B2B sales success at Executive/C‑suite Level, especially in conquest sales. Experience using consultative solution selling to align client’s business needs with a solution. Experience growing market share through conquest sales. Ability to negotiate and close major sales opportunities with executive level clients. Advanced presentation skills incorporating strong sales techniques. Excellent closing and negotiating skills. Ability to travel 75% or more with weekly overnight travel.
