We are seeking a highly organized, responsible, and detail-oriented VA & Social Security Case Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for managing a caseload involving veterans and Social Security beneficiaries, coordinating benefits and services, maintaining accurate financial and case records, communicating with government agencies and service providers, and ensuring that required deadlines and reporting obligations are met.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working with sensitive financial and personal information and understand the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, follow-through, and compassionate client service.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can take ownership of a case from start to finish , identify what needs to be done, follow up without being reminded, and keep the attorney and management team informed of important developments.

Compensation:

$48,000

Responsibilities:

• Discover ways to improve processes and apply solutions to boost service quality
• Direct adherence to regulatory guidelines and company standards
• Supervise client case handling from initiation to closure, guaranteeing timely and efficient service delivery
• Formulate and modify tailored care plans informed by client assessments and ongoing progress
• Partner with healthcare providers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to fulfill client requirements

• Manage assigned VA fiduciary and Social Security Rep Payee matters from onboarding through completion or transfer.

• Monitor benefits, deposits, adjustments, benefit interruptions, overpayments and other account activity.

• Assist with VA and SSA annual accountings and other fiduciary reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid LCSW or equivalent qualification
• Experienced in assessing clients and creating care strategies
• Skilled in fostering relationships and clear communication
• Over five years of experience as a case manager
• Aptitude for contributing positively to team-based projects
