AR Associate

Fairfax, VA

Salary Range: $23-$25/hr

Addison Group's client is searching for a temp-to-permanent AR Associate based in its Fairfax, VA location. This role is on-site with hybrid flexibility once converted. This role pays $23-$25/hr and converts in the 55-60K range.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate and issue accurate invoices in a timely manner

Apply incoming payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies

Monitor aging reports and follow up with clients on past-due accounts

Communicate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing and payment issues

Maintain up-to-date records of accounts receivable transactions

Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports for management

Support month-end closing by ensuring all AR entries are properly recorded

Assist with cash forecasting and collections strategy development

Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards

Support audits and provide documentation as needed

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
