Description: We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in rare disease management to join our team. This full-time position is based in Pittsburgh, PA, and requires onsite presence. The role focuses on optimizing medication therapy and ensuring seamless care for patients with rare diseases.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited pharmacy school
- Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a specialty pharmacy setting, with a focus on rare diseases preferred
- Strong knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations, including workflow design and program implementation
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to obtain and maintain additional Pharmacist State licensure(s) as requested
Qualifications:
- Experience supervising and training pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
- Strong commitment to patient care and quality assurance
- High level of independent judgment, individual initiative, and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in a clear, logical, and consistent manner
- Experience managing and leading pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in a specialty pharmacy setting
- Multi-state pharmacist licensure preferred
- CPR or similar pharmacy system experience preferred
