Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Blast Tech Spine and Joint Rehab Center. As a full-time member of our rehabilitation facility, you will play a vital role in providing advanced patient care, developing tailored therapy plans, and contributing to the overall health and wellness of our patients. This position is located onsite in Tyro, Virginia, and offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment programs that align with each patient's goals and physician's recommendations.
• Utilize advanced therapy techniques and modalities—including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise—to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress, make necessary adjustments to therapy plans, and document all interventions accurately in patient records.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment options, injury prevention, and ongoing self-care strategies.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and contribute insights on best practices in rehabilitation.
• Gain and maintain a deep understanding of evolving treatment methodologies and ensure adherence to evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will focus on treating a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, pediatric conditions, and neurologic disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, helping them regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their physical abilities. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.

• Proficiency in computer skills, including basic word processing and electronic medical records.
• A commitment to delivering patient-centered care with a focus on building long-term therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in an orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• A track record of successful outcomes in patient rehabilitation, ideally in a multidiscipline team environment.
