Flexibility First Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate and committed Physical Therapist to join our team in Tyro, Virginia. This full-time position requires a dedicated professional who will be instrumental in restoring mobility and enhancing the quality of life for our patients. You will work collaboratively to promote recovery, prevent injury, and facilitate rehabilitation, helping each patient achieve their optimal performance through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office in Tyro, Virginia, where the work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. As part of a collaborative team that includes two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), you will engage in meaningful interactions with both colleagues and patients in a supportive and dynamic setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and establish achievable goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and various therapeutic modalities.
• Administer specialized therapies aimed at improving patients' range of motion, strength, and overall mobility.
• Educate patients on treatment progress, self-management strategies, and preventive measures to avoid re-injury.
• Achieve a manageable patient load, seeing one patient per hour, allowing for focused attention and high-quality care.
• Utilize EMR software such as WebPT for accurate and efficient documentation of patient services and outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet fluctuating needs and improve outcomes.
• Encourage patients in adopting lifestyle changes that foster health, fitness, and independence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Participate in professional development through continuing education and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, experiencing a wide range of orthopedic conditions. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design and implementation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey treatment plans and progress to patients and the team.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desired.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, specifically WebPT, to streamline documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
