Tax Senior — Syracuse, NY

Pay: $85,000 - $115,000 + bonus potential

A well-respected regional CPA and advisory firm in Central New York is looking for a Tax Senior to join its growing tax practice. You'll take ownership of engagements, work directly with business owners and families, and build toward management with real mentorship and a clear path forward.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-corp, C-corp, and trust returns
• Take the lead on multiple engagements and keep them moving toward deadlines
• Research federal, state, and local tax questions and recommend practical solutions
• Support managers and partners on tax planning and projections for closely held businesses
• Review work prepared by staff and help train and coach junior team members
• Communicate directly with clients on compliance, planning, and notice responses

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
• CPA or EA, or actively pursuing either
• Solid understanding of individual and pass-through entity taxation
• Experience with CCH Axcess, UltraTax, Lacerte, or similar software
• Strong organization and client-service skills
