Basic knowledge of inspection tools, including their uses and maintenance. Basic knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry. Lift (up to) 50 lbs and stack safely. Ability to stay active and on your feet the entire shift. Dependable. Focused. Lay out reference lines and machining locations on work, using layout tools and applying knowledge of shop math and layout techniques. Set and adjust machine controls according to product specifications, utilizing knowledge of machine operation. Select and set cutting speeds, feed rates, depths of cuts, and cutting tools according to machining instructions or knowledge of material properties. Maneuver large pieces of granite using various tools and equipment, including various-sized forklifts up to 50,000+ pounds. Follow processing schedules and production orders concerning duty assignments.
