Backed by a leadership team of CPG industry veterans, Nantucket Crisps has big plans and we're looking for the person who will help make them happen. The Role You’ll be the first hire in our newly formed marketing function, reporting to the CEO. That means you’ll be hands-on across the full spectrum of CPG marketing. In a given day, you might go from writing the brief for a new packaging design to packing press kits for a product launch. This role touches virtually all facets of marketing in some way and is an unusual opportunity to build deep, wide expertise fast. And, for the right candidate, the growth path scales with the company. What You’ll Do Sales support: Build and maintain sales decks, sell sheets, and buyer-facing materials that win at retail Shopper marketing: Develop retailer-focused programming that drives trial and velocity Insights: Turn syndicated and retailer data into a regular reporting rhythm that informs distribution growth, portfolio decisions, and brand strategy E-Commerce: Manage external Amazon agency while coordinating between supply chain and fulfillment teams and design partners; this role will also oversee D2C (Shopify) and wholesale platforms like Faire and Mable Events: Coordinate sampling, activations, and sponsorships from planning through day-of execution NPD & Packaging: Support innovation pipeline and packaging projects, maintaining brand consistency across core flavours and LTOs Communications: Help shape and execute our communication strategy alongside experienced external PR and brand partners, building structure across social, website, digital marketing and PR Marketing ops: Manage budgets, vendors, and asset organization – bringing structure and process to a fast-moving function Team support: We’re a small team and everyone pitches in, whether it’s sending a VIP care package or organizing a team offsite The Ideal Candidate 2–5 years of marketing experience, ideally in CPG, brand marketing, or agency Highly organized, with the ability to juggle many diverse projects at once Strong writer and communicator Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with syndicated data (SPINS, Nielsen, Circana) a plus Process-oriented, with a natural instinct to create order and structure Curious, interested in the not just the what Self-starter who’s comfortable working independently and as part of a team Energized by a fast-moving, evolving environment Able to work in our Wakefield, MA office 3 days per week Research shows that some candidates only apply when they meet every listed qualification.
