Salary: $25 Hr - $28 Hr

GREGOR INDUSTRIES is seeking an experienced Junior Estimator to join our team!

We are a busy, growing, General Contractor, specializing in commercial construction.

• Works closely with the Senior Estimator to assist in day-to-day tasks.
• Prepares and estimates budget costs for construction by studying plans and specifications.
• Analyze requirement documents, blueprints as well as project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
• Determining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product.
• Prepare material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service.
• Create labor estimates for any project.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors.
• Managing bids from vendors and contractors.
• Using bid data to prepare detailed cost analysis.
• Ability to present prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders.
• Compiling and recording actual costs.
• Writes up and presents budgets, reports and project plans.
• Create Microsoft Project Schedules.
• Update Bid Calendar.

Qualifications:

• Construction Estimating experience.
• Project Coordination.
• Experience with Project Planning.
• Must be adept in working with Power Point.
• Experience with Microsoft Projects.
• Minimum 1-2 years estimating experience in the construction industry.
• Must be highly detail oriented.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of cost estimating software.
• Ability to read and understand plans/blueprints.
