Inpatient Rehab Unit Registered NurseOur client, a leading health system in Garden City, KS, is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Inpatient Rehab Unit. This role involves caring for post-stroke and severely debilitated patients, helping them regain their quality of life in a collaborative and supportive environment.Responsibilities:Assume responsibility and accountability for patient care, facilitating communication and collaboration with the healthcare team and patient/family.Identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety of patients through the nursing process.Work collaboratively within a ten-bed acute inpatient physical rehabilitation unit.Participate in a flexible schedule and educational programs within the rehabilitation department.Requirements:RN License required; Current KS state nursing license or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.BLS from the American Heart Association required upon hire or within 8 weeks of hire.One year of RN experience required.Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs.NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire.Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.Schedule:Full TimeNight shift: 7 PM - 7 AMCompensation:$30.58 - $42.99/hourBenefits:Medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision plans.Life insurance.Paid time off (minimum of 14 paid time off days, including holidays annually).Tuition reimbursement.Retirement plan benefits including 401(k) and 403(b).
