This position is headquartered at the Sacramento Headquarters and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule. Employees must be able to report to their assigned headquarters office as assigned. Travel expense to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee. Eligibility for telework requires the employee to reside in California per California Government Code Section 14200 which states: "telecommuting means the partial or total substitution of computers or telecommunication technologies, or both, for the commute to work by employees residing in California. In fiscal year 2023-24, the California Lottery generated sales of more than $9.2 billion with approximately $2.2 billion earned for California public schools. Lottery products are sold at more than 23,000 retail locations throughout the state, from independent neighborhood shops to convenience stores, liquor stores to supermarkets, and more. Retail product offerings include an average of 52 fun and entertaining Scratchers® games and several draw games, including jackpot games such as Powerball®, Mega Millions®, and SuperLotto Plus® and daily games such as Fantasy 5 and Hot Spot®.

- A bachelor's degree, preferably with a specialization in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- Knowledge and/or experience in marketing, advertising, and/or product development.
- Experience providing general administrative and analytical support, including gathering data, creating reports, meeting planning and agenda coordination, preparing executive correspondence and/or reports, and maintaining an electronic and/or physical filing system.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Possess the intellectual curiosity with the drive to master new tools, adapt to process improvements, and the passion to learn new skills.
- Ability to manage expectations and tactfully uphold agency policy and procedures.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn, adapt to, and effectively use new software, systems, and digital tools that support business operations.
- Has the ability analyze problems, identify patterns, and propose innovative solutions independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite of programs such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint, CoPilot, TEAMS, etc.
- Ability to track, route, and assure review by executive of sensitive documents and marketing materials as part of a multi-step review process.
