Senior Product Designer

Senior Product Designer | FinTech | Series A (US Remote or NYC)

About the opportunity

Primis is partnering with a well-funded, early-stage fintech company building software that helps financial advisors manage and move client data more reliably, sitting between the systems advisors already use.

The role

Own a constraint-heavy part of the platform: designing workflows that bend to rigid third-party data requirements, making sense of large inconsistent data sets, and folding it all into the product without breaking existing flows. You'd work directly with the company's design lead (there since the earliest days) with real ownership over craft and how design operates as the team grows.

What we're looking for

• Experience designing complex, branching workflows where constraints and edge cases are central
• A track record designing inside hard external rules, compliance, regulated processes, third-party requirements
• Real design-system ownership, not just working within one
• Comfort with ambiguity and genuine early-stage pace
• Hands-on, low-ego, collaborative, holds a position but can disagree and commit

Nice to have

Data-dense UX (tables, bulk ops, reconciliation), technical fluency with engineers, domain knowledge in financial services or similarly regulated spaces, enough front-end ability to prototype in code

Background that works well here

Startup, fintech, or B2B SaaS with genuinely complex workflows; also insurance, healthcare, legal tech, tax, lending, or payroll
