Our client is a full-service General Contractor/Construction Manager that has been in business for over 40 years. This company, which is experiencing consistent growth, is renowned in the Southeast market with regards to their bread-and-butter project types - to include tilt-wall industrial and big box retail, as well as larger Commercial work such as schools and hotels. They currently complete an average of $200M+ each calendar year and maintain an overall headcount of 75 employees spread across four offices. Team members are valued beyond the projects, which contributes to the strong company culture. Our client is currently seeking a motivated Construction Project Manager to join their growing team who is looking to grow and help develop future generations of professionals from their newly established Mobile office.

Job Description

The Senior Project Manager will:

• Provide overall leadership to entire project team
• Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential.
• Build and maintain rapport with architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.
• Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule
• Manage budget and financial reporting
• Interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
• Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program.
• Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and fee and pricing decisions

The Successful Applicant

The successful Senior Project Manager will have the following:

• 10+ years' experience in Commercial Construction Project Management
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field strongly preferred
• Experience with ground-up projects across the Industrial or Commercial markets
• Proficient in project management software
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to self-manage and willingness to work in a remote capacity while utilizing the broader business for support as needed
